Anything that acts as a coolant makes a difference. Wet towels in the freezer don’t work. This works. I’ve only used it a few times so don’t know how it will hold up, but so far I’m pleased. The price meant I could buy multiples. I did.
RAGBRAI Heat Tested08/06/2023 ByPatrick Heidrich I used this in this years 500 mile RAGBRAI to keep my cool. A real life saver. I used it 2 ways: 1) soak in ice cold water and then put it under my jersey behind my neck. 2) Put under my helmet covering the back of my head, neck and ears. Worked great in over 100 degree days riding across IOWA.
